What data do we collect?
Cookies and website use
Our website uses our own cookie: fajaedecookie‑AI.
- This cookie remembers your preferences and interactions with our AI support.
- This cookie also activates Seers AI on fajaede.nl.
- The cookie does not contain sensitive or personally identifiable information.
- The cookie helps us improve your user experience, for example by remembering your settings and enabling AI features.
With your consent, we may also collect standard technical data, such as:
- Your IP address
- Browser information
- Pages viewed and click behaviour using analytical tools (for example Google Analytics).
When you buy our software
When you purchase a license for our plugin or software, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
Note: Billing details (such as company name, address, VAT number, and payment status) are collected and securely processed by our third-party payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.
We need this information to:
- Process your order
- Generate and send you a license key
- Send you your invoice
- Comply with our legal accounting obligations (tax and bookkeeping)
Cookies and tracking
The cookie fajaedecookie‑AI is mainly functional and contains no sensitive information. This cookie also activates Seers AI on fajaede.be and helps AI features work on the site. For analytical cookies (for example via Google Analytics), we first ask for your consent.
You can manage or delete cookies at any time:
If you disable cookies, some features of the website (including Seers AI on fajaede.be) may not work properly.
Purpose of data processing
We use the collected data to:
- Improve the website and adapt it to your wishes
- Personalise your user experience
- Enable and optimise the FajaedeSEO AI plugin, Seers AI (on fajaede.be), and other AI features
- Process orders and licenses
- Comply with our legal obligations (for example for the tax authorities)
Webshop and payments
Our FajaedeSEO plugin and other products are offered via our website. For payments and invoicing, we work with an external partner: Lemon Squeezy. This is our payment processor (Merchant of Record). They securely process your payment, handle invoicing, and store payment data according to their own privacy policy. We do not store full card payment details ourselves; these remain with the payment processor.
Sharing with third parties
We never sell your data to third parties. We only share data with other parties when it is necessary for our service or when we are legally required to do so. We work with the following partners:
- Lemon Squeezy – for payments and invoices (webshop and licenses).
- Google (Analytics & Ads) – for anonymous website statistics and measuring our ads, only if you have given cookie consent.
- OpenAI (FajaedeSEO Plugin) & BYOK Policy: The plugin operates strictly on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. You must use your own OpenAI API key. We do not store your API keys on our servers, nor do we save, log, or monitor the content, data, or prompts you send to OpenAI. You are entirely responsible for your own OpenAI account, data privacy, and billing. We accept zero liability for any API costs incurred or data processed by OpenAI.
- OpenAI (Website AI Support): If you use the AI support chat on our website, your questions are processed via OpenAI's secure API. We send as little personal data as possible.
- Seers AI – activated by the fajaedecookie‑AI, processes user interactions to enable AI features on fajaede.be.
These partners may be located outside the EU. Where needed, we sign data processing agreements and use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.
Data retention
We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
- Analytical data (for example via Google Analytics): is deleted or anonymised after a pre‑set retention period (for example after 14 to 26 months, depending on the retention setting in the tool).
- Customer and billing data: we are legally required to keep invoices and related data for 7 years for the tax authorities (accounting obligation). After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.
- Contact details (for example via contact form): we keep them for as long as needed to handle your request and for a limited period afterwards, unless the law requires a longer retention period.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. Examples include:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Limited access to systems
- Regular updates and security checks
Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access: you may ask what data we have about you.
- Right to correction: you may ask us to correct incorrect data.
- Right to erasure: in some cases, you may ask us to delete your data.
- Right to restriction: you may ask us to limit how we process your data.
- Right to object: you may object to certain processing, for example for marketing.

If you want to use any of these rights, please contact us at info@fajaede.be. We try to handle your request within 30 days.
